How Can We Help?
End-of-Day Exit Tips for Guests with Mobility, Disability, or Neurodiverse Needs at Disneyland Paris
Overview
The end of the day, especially after the nighttime spectacular, is one of the busiest times in the parks. Large crowds often move toward the exits at the same time, which can be challenging for guests with mobility aids, sensory sensitivities, or those who prefer a calmer departure. With a bit of planning, you can leave the parks more comfortably and safely.
1. Use the Arcades Behind Main Street
- Liberty Arcade (west side) and Discovery Arcade (east side) run parallel to Main Street and offer a much quieter, step-free route to the park exit.
- These covered walkways keep you sheltered from the weather and avoid the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds in the main thoroughfare.
2. Leave Slightly Early or Late
- Early Exit: If you don’t need to see the very end of the nighttime show, leaving 5–10 minutes before it finishes can help you get ahead of the crowds.
- Late Exit: If you prefer to wait, stay in the hub or near Main Street shops for 15–20 minutes after the show ends. By then, the main crowd will have cleared.
3. Best Viewing Spots for a Quick Exit
- Watch the nighttime show from near the entrances to Liberty Arcade or Discovery Arcade so you can slip out as soon as it ends.
- For parades, choose viewing areas closer to the exit end of the route, such as near the Town Square roundabout.
4. Getting Back to Your Hotel
- Walking Distance Hotels: Use step-free routes from the park exit through Disney Village to your hotel entrance.
- Shuttle Buses: If you rely on the shuttle, consider waiting 15–30 minutes after closing to avoid the busiest queues.
- Mobility Aids: Ensure your wheelchair or scooter battery is well charged before the evening show to handle the journey back without issue.
5. Sensory & Comfort Tips
- Noise and crowd levels are at their peak immediately after the show—ear defenders or noise-reducing headphones can make the exit calmer.
- Take advantage of the quieter atmosphere in the shops on Main Street if you need a decompression period before heading out.
