Are Assistance Dogs Allowed in the Restaurants at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge?
Yes, assistance dogs are fully permitted in all dining venues at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, including Hunter’s Grill, Beaver Creek Tavern, and the Redwood Bar & Lounge. This is in accordance with Disneyland Paris’ commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
Eligibility
Assistance dogs are accepted when they are:
- Trained and registered with a recognised assistance dog organisation
- Working in support of a guest with a visible or invisible disability, including:
- Guide dogs (visual impairment)
- Hearing dogs (hearing loss)
- Medical alert dogs (e.g. epilepsy, diabetes)
- Autism support dogs
- Mobility assistance dogs
Emotional support animals that are not officially trained service dogs may not be permitted in dining spaces.
Dining with an Assistance Dog
- Dogs can remain with their handler at the table throughout the meal
- Seating can be adjusted to provide additional space near or under the table
- Restaurants may offer a quiet corner or less busy table to help reduce stimulation for the dog and guest
- Dogs should be well-behaved and remain under control at all times (on a leash or harness)
- Cast members are trained not to distract or interact with working dogs unless invited
Water and Comfort
- Water bowls may be available upon request — ask your server or a nearby cast member
- Dogs are welcome to lie under or beside the table where space allows
- If your dog requires a break, outdoor grassy areas are easily accessible just outside the main building
Health & Safety Guidelines
- Assistance dogs are exempt from typical food service restrictions due to their essential function
- Guests are responsible for ensuring their dog does not interfere with food preparation areas or other diners
- Handlers should carry waste bags and make use of outdoor relief areas as needed
