MagicALL Program at Disneyland Paris
What is the MagicALL Program?
MagicALL is Disneyland Paris’s official accessibility and inclusion initiative. It aims to ensure that all guests, regardless of disability, health condition, or additional needs, can enjoy a safe and magical experience across the resort. The program promotes accessibility, autonomy, and equal opportunities through practical services, infrastructure, and training.
MagicALL replaced the older disability access system and introduced new guidelines, updated facilities, and clearer communication around guest needs.
Core Principles of MagicALL
The MagicALL program is based on three main values:
- Inclusion
Ensuring all guests are welcomed and can participate fully in the Disney experience. - Autonomy
Promoting independence and enabling guests to enjoy the parks and hotels with as few restrictions as possible. - Safety
Implementing measures that respect guest abilities while meeting safety requirements for attractions, transport, and emergency procedures.
What MagicALL Offers
MagicALL is embedded across the entire resort, including the parks, hotels, transport, shops, and restaurants. Key features include:
1. Access Cards
- Priority Card for guests with a recognised disability
- Easy Access Card for guests with a chronic condition that impacts their ability to wait in line
Both cards allow modified queue access and are colour-coded based on the guest’s ability to board and evacuate attractions independently.
2. Autonomy Colour System
Guests are assigned a colour (Green, Purple, Orange, Blue, or Grey) based on how independently they can evacuate or board rides. This system helps staff provide appropriate support while maintaining safety.
3. Accessible Attractions and Facilities
- Step-free access routes and ride boarding options
- Ride transfer support zones
- Designated viewing areas for parades and fireworks
- Adapted toilets, changing places, and pool access
- Priority queues at restaurants and shops
4. Trained Cast Members
All Cast Members receive accessibility training so they can assist with mobility, sensory, cognitive, and communication needs. The Special Assistance Team provides additional support for complex requests.
5. Inclusive Hotel Services
- Accessible rooms with adapted bathrooms and hoist-friendly spaces
- Hearing support kits, visual alarms, and vibrating alert systems
- Access for assistance dogs
- Quiet spaces and sensory-friendly adjustments are available on request
Guest Experience Goals
MagicALL is designed to:
- Make the parks more predictable, comfortable, and navigable for guests with additional needs
- Allow families to enjoy experiences together, even if some members require support
- Provide clear, upfront information so guests can plan effectively
- Empower guests to request support confidently and discreetly
