How Can We Help?
How To Use This Guide
Welcome to your accessibility resource for Disneyland Paris! This guide is designed to help you plan and enjoy your visit with confidence, whether you have mobility challenges, sensory sensitivities, or other accessibility needs.
Navigating the Information
- Ratings at a Glance: Each attraction, restaurant, hotel, or shop includes two key accessibility ratings at the top:
- ♿ Wheelchair Accessibility (rated 1 to 5)
- 🧠 Neurodiverse (Sensory and Cognitive) Friendliness (rated 1 to 5)
These ratings give you a quick overview of how accessible and accommodating each venue is.
- Detailed Descriptions: Below the ratings, you’ll find in-depth information covering physical access, sensory environment, staff support, and any special considerations. This helps you understand what to expect and plan accordingly.
- Important Questions: For rides and attractions, we answer common questions such as transfer needs, companion seating, ride intensity, and sensory triggers.
Planning Your Visit
- Use the Disability Access Service (DAS): If you or your party have sensory or mobility needs that make standing in queues difficult, register for the DAS early at Guest Relations. This system lets you schedule return times to attractions, reducing wait and sensory overload.
- Contact Guest Services: Reach out ahead of your visit to discuss specific requirements. Disneyland Paris staff are trained to help and can offer personalized support.
- Visit During Off-Peak Times: For a calmer experience, consider visiting popular attractions early in the morning, late afternoon, or on weekdays.
- Bring Necessary Supports: Pack items like ear defenders, sensory toys, medications, or comfort objects to aid regulation and enjoyment.
- Reserve Accessible Accommodations and Dining: Book hotels and restaurants in advance, specifying your accessibility needs to ensure the best experience.
Additional Tips
- Use Quiet Areas: Take breaks in designated quiet or sensory rooms to help manage sensory input and fatigue.
- Ask for Help: Don’t hesitate to ask cast members for assistance — they are knowledgeable and eager to support you.
- Plan for Transfers: If you use a wheelchair but need to transfer onto rides, bring a companion or arrange for staff assistance.
By using this guide alongside your own needs and preferences, you’ll be well-prepared to enjoy everything Disneyland Paris has to offer in comfort and safety.
