Disney Adventure World – A Reimagined Second Park

When the transformation is complete, Disney Adventure World will have roughly doubled the size of the current second park. It will bring guests into the worlds of Disney Animation, Pixar and Marvel through three spectacular immersive lands: the brand-new World of Frozen, the colourful Worlds of Pixar and the action-packed Marvel Avengers Campus. A fourth land, inspired by The Lion King, will follow later.

The transformation of more than 90% of the park’s offerings since 2002 shows just how ambitious this project is. With a €2 billion investment, new attractions, entertainment, dining and technology will create deeper emotions and unforgettable memories for guests.

Adventure Way and Adventure Bay – Your Route to Arendelle

Guests will first walk along Adventure Way, a beautiful new avenue linking World Premiere Plaza with Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar and World of Frozen. Adventure Way will feature 14 food and beverage locations, landscaped gardens, live entertainment and a brand-new family attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin, inspired by the Disney Animation film Tangled.

At the end of Adventure Way lies Adventure Bay, a majestic 7.5-acre lake that forms the centrepiece of the new park. During the day it will host character experiences and tranquil views across to Arendelle. By night, it will transform into the stage for a brand-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Cascade of Lights, with fountains, lights and music surrounding the lake.

A Unique Immersion into the World of Frozen

World of Frozen is designed as a full-scale, lived-in version of Arendelle. Imagineers have built a towering 118-foot (36 metre) North Mountain crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace, with the village of Arendelle nestled at its base. Colourful Nordic-inspired facades, water features and carefully landscaped forests of conifers, birches, beeches and crocuses will make you feel like you’ve stepped into the films.

During your visit you’ll be part of the Snowflower Festival, a special celebration that brings the village to life with decorations, music and entertainment. Symphonic re-interpretations of the film’s soundtrack will play throughout the land while villagers and characters welcome you to Arendelle.

Frozen Ever After – A New Family Attraction

At the heart of the village, beneath the Clock Tower, guests will discover Frozen Ever After, a new boat ride for the whole family. You’ll glide through scenes filled with beloved characters, advanced animatronics and stunning special effects as the story of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven unfolds around you.

Expect sing-along moments, emotional set pieces and a finale that feels like you’re right inside Elsa’s Ice Palace, surrounded by snow and shimmering ice.

Characters, Shows and Next-Generation Olaf

World of Frozen will be packed with opportunities to meet your favourite characters. Guests can enjoy a Royal Encounter with Anna and Elsa inside Arendelle Castle, passing through a Portrait Gallery before meeting the queens for personal interaction and photos.

On Arendelle Bay, the 15-minute show A Celebration in Arendelle will take place several times a day as part of the Snowflower Festival. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and villagers will perform on three majestic Viking longships, inviting the audience to sing along to songs such as “Let It Go”, “Show Yourself” and brand-new music written especially for this show by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

A highlight for Disney and tech fans will be the next-generation robotic Olaf, developed by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development. This true-to-size Olaf will interact with guests and other characters in incredibly life-like ways, appearing in Arendelle Bay’s show and at select events.

Dining and Shopping in Arendelle

When it’s time to refuel, guests can visit Nordic Crowns Tavern, a quick-service restaurant that celebrates the history of Arendelle and its royal family through paintings and decorative objects. The menu offers a build-your-own meal inspired by Nordic flavours with up to 16 possible combinations, plus frosty desserts, blue sorbet, snowflake sweets and Nordic pastries. Gluten-free and vegan options will also be available.

Arendelle Boutique will be the go-to shop for Frozen fans, offering classic merchandise alongside exclusive creations inspired by Scandinavian craft, from wooden sculptures to clothing and homeware with elegant rosemaling motifs.

Nearby, the Fjord View Shop introduces a brand-new interactive toy, Rúna the baby troll. After a short ceremony, guests will take home their own Rúna who reacts to touch, blinks, moves its ears, lights up and communicates with other trolls – and even with key locations and characters within World of Frozen.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge – Princess Dining and the First In-Park Bar

Over on Adventure Way, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will provide a refined dining experience with stunning vistas of Adventure Bay and World of Frozen. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner surrounded by embroidered drapes, floral tapestries and murals of Disney Princesses including Snow White, Tiana, Moana and more.

During the meal you may meet princesses such as Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan or Ariel – some wearing brand-new looks created especially for Disneyland Paris.

The adjoining Regal View Lounge, the first bar inside either Disneyland Paris park, will serve signature cocktails and drinks inspired by Disney Princess personalities. Guests can relax to piano renditions of Disney classics while enjoying panoramic views across the lake and Arendelle.

Accessibility – What to Expect at World of Frozen

While there has been no official detailed announcement about accessibility at World of Frozen, the project has clearly been designed with guests with reduced mobility in mind and is expected to follow the wider approach used across the Disneyland Paris resort.

• Raiponce Tangled Spin
  According to permits, this attraction will feature a dedicated queue for PMR (persons with reduced mobility) integrated directly into the load area. A ride transfer is likely to be required.
• Frozen Ever After
  The attraction has been built with PMR access in mind, with a dedicated entry point. Due to the ride’s drops and boat design, a transfer is expected to be mandatory.
• Around Adventure Bay and the Lake
  For Disney Cascade of Lights, the promenade includes ramped access for PMR guests, and dedicated viewing zones are expected so that wheelchair users and their parties can enjoy the show with clear sightlines.
• Regal View Restaurant & Lounge
  The layout of the restaurant and lounge has been designed so that entrances, circulation paths and seating areas will be accessible to PMR guests.
• Overall Area
  The entire expansion is being developed, like the rest of the Disneyland Paris resort, to ensure that guests with access needs can enjoy attractions, dining and entertainment with as few obstacles as possible. Expect step-free routes, adapted viewing areas and a continuation of the park’s existing accessibility policies and documentation.
