Accessibility Overview

SEN Suitability

Crush’s Coaster begins with a calm dark ride section through the Great Barrier Reef before accelerating into a high-speed, spinning coaster through the East Australian Current. It combines sudden drops, sharp turns, and spinning motion with immersive underwater effects.

  • Noise Level: High — includes loud ocean sound effects, character voices, and sudden audio bursts
  • Visual Effects: Dim lighting, flashing effects, projections, and dark areas
  • Movement: Sudden drops, spins, and sharp directional changes
  • SEN Tips: This ride may be overwhelming for guests sensitive to motion, spinning, loud noises, or low-light environments

Mobility Suitability

  • Wheelchair Use: Guests must transfer from a wheelchair to the turtle shell ride seat.
  • Boarding:
    • Low, enclosed seating with lap bar restraint
    • Step down into the seat required; Cast Members can assist
  • Storage: Mobility aids are stored with the staff near the boarding platform until the ride ends

Priority & Easy Access Card Information

Guests with a Priority Card or Easy Access Card can use the accessible entrance located to the left of the main entrance sign.

How to Access It:

  • Guests with a Priority/Easy Access card can access the ride via a dedicated queue located at the ride exit to the left of the main entrance.
  • Present your accessibility card to the Cast Member at the entrance
  • You will be directed to the boarding area via a shorter, step-free route

Queue Conditions:

  • Mostly indoors with immersive underwater theming and ambient sounds
  • Dim lighting with occasional bright effects
  • Some narrow sections may feel enclosed during busy times

Ride Experience

Guests board a turtle shell vehicle that first glides through colorful coral reef scenes, meeting familiar characters from Finding Nemo. The vehicle then accelerates into the East Australian Current for a high-speed spinning section, with quick turns, drops, and bursts of light simulating an undersea adventure.

Practical Tips

  • Best Time to Ride: Early morning or park close for shorter waits
  • Closest Accessible Toilets: Near the entrance to Toon Studio, close to the Animation Celebration building
  • Quiet Rest Areas: Shaded seating areas near the entrance to Toy Story Playland
  • Bag & Medical Equipment Storage: Small items can be taken onboard in secure pockets; larger aids stored with Cast Members

Fun Facts
