Are assistance dogs allowed inside the cabins?

Yes, assistance dogs are welcome inside the cabins at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. The resort recognises certified service animals as essential companions for guests with disabilities and allows them full access to the accommodation, as well as most public and shared areas across the site.

🐶 What Is Considered an Assistance Dog?

Assistance dogs include guide dogs, hearing dogs, seizure alert dogs, and other task-trained service animals that support individuals with physical or non-visible disabilities. To be recognised by Disneyland Paris, the dog must be officially trained by or registered with a recognised assistance dog organisation.

Emotional support animals or therapy pets are not currently granted the same access rights.

🏡 Staying in the Cabin with an Assistance Dog

Assistance dogs are permitted to stay inside guest cabins at Davy Crockett Ranch. The cabins are spacious and detached, offering a calm environment that’s well-suited for guests who benefit from quieter surroundings or prefer a more private stay with their dog.

There is sufficient floor space for a dog bed, water and food bowls, and movement throughout the room. Most cabins also have nearby outdoor space, allowing dogs to stretch and relieve themselves easily.

It’s a good idea to bring:

  • Your dog’s official identification or paperwork
  • A bed or mat they are familiar with
  • Waste bags and cleaning supplies
  • Bowls and food for the stay
  • A harness or lead with visible assistance dog tags if applicable

🌳 Outdoor Relief and Walking Areas

Davy Crockett Ranch is set in a wooded, natural environment, making it ideal for dog walks and exercise breaks. While there are no dedicated dog relief areas, guests can use quiet pathways and grassed zones near their cabin, provided they clean up responsibly.

🧼 Cleanliness and Responsibility

While Disney does not charge an additional fee for assistance dogs, guests are expected to ensure their cabin remains clean and free of excessive pet hair or damage. Assistance dogs should remain under control at all times, either by lead, harness, or voice command.

Guests are also encouraged to let the reception team know if they are travelling with an assistance dog, so housekeeping and other services can be made aware in advance.

🏥 Emergency and Veterinary Care

If your assistance dog requires veterinary attention during your stay, staff at the resort can help direct you to local veterinary services in the nearby Val d’Europe area. It’s recommended to bring copies of your dog’s vaccination records and any medications, just in case of emergency.

Summary

Yes, assistance dogs are fully allowed inside the cabins at Davy Crockett Ranch. The resort is welcoming and respectful of guests with service animals, providing a quiet, natural environment that suits both relaxation and accessibility needs. With the right preparation, your assistance dog can be a part of a comfortable and enjoyable Disney experience.
